‘Luminate Sandringham’ is runs from November 20th to December 20th
With the festive period fast approaching and so much of our ‘normal’ Christmas probably needing to be altered or cancelled there is something new we can look forward to – a spectacular seasonal light show is set to illuminate the beautiful Sandringham Estate to help celebrate the Christmas period.
‘Luminate Sandringham’ is running from November 20th to December 20th. Perfect for all the family, it will be a chance for everyone to immerse themselves in a sparkling trail as darkness descends. Set to ambient music there will be an array of stunning lighting elements and light play within the historic grounds and countryside. The mesmerising mile-long walk, will feature three different themes including wild woodland to incorporate the stunning surroundings.
Tickets for the event are already selling quickly says Daniel Maycock, one of the organisers, “We are really excited at how the launch of the event has gone down with the public, and we can’t wait to open the doors and bring this magical event to Sandringham,” he said. The event has been modified due to the current climate, with online pre booking of tickets required, strict time slot entry on the night to reduce any queuing and a reduction in the capacity on the event site, being just some of the measures in place. Daniel added ‘The light trial actually really suits socially distancing rules – as people want to be with their own ‘bubble’, and it’s all outside in the fresh air as well.
We have had to ‘re-imagine’ some of the interactive elements, so there are less touch points but we feel we have created a memorable trail, with something for all ages.’ You can follow Luminate Sandringham on Facebook and Instagram.
